One Last Chance For One Last Dance
Hit the dancefloor, hit the town
Before it all comes crashing down
Don’t need no “darling”, no “baby”, no “honey”
Just need to be told that I’m nice and I’m funny
So come on out, come on over
Feelin’ lucky, got a four leaf clover
I’ll give you one last chance for one last dance
Surrounded by the cold night air
Starts to rain but I don’t care
Toss the umbrella, toss the raincoat
The raindrops on the sidewalk hit the perfect note
So where’d you go, where you at
Just go and take off your old hat
I’ll give you one last chance for one last dance
Yeah, what you waiting for
The empty street is the perfect dancefloor
The music of the cars on the neighboring block
Just come on, we don’t have to talk
So come on out, come on over
Feelin’ lucky, got a four leaf clover
Just go and take off your old hat
Yeah, where’d you go, where you at
Where’d you go, where you at
I’ll give you one last chance for one last dance
I’ll give you one last chance for one last dance

About The Song
This song was inspired by a lot of things. One- those old-timey movie scenes with the dancing in the rain at night by some old cobblestone fountain. Two- Fall Out Boy’s “A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More Touch Me” lyrics. Three- The pouring rain outside. It’s about exactly what the lyrics say- dancing in the rain.
