Savior
Fallen hard
Can’t get up
Broken pieces
Everywhere
Horrid pain
Body aches
Can’t hold on
Have no hope
And then you come
Pick me up
Tell me it will be okay
Hold me there
Don’t give up
It seems you care
But is it true
Do you care enough to save me
All alone
Late at night
Crying hard
Swollen eyes
Curled up
Freezing cold
Stuck in limbo
Mind a mess
Then I see you
Standing there
Staring me down
Glint in your eye
You walk forward
Pat my shoulder
Wipe my eye
Tell me it will be alright
In a time of dire need
No energy, no strength
Crumbling apart
Piece by piece
Dead inside
Soulless pulse
Blurry vision
Time stands still
I hear your voice
I see your face
You don’t speak
You just hold me
Rock back and forth
Stroke my hand
I don’t think you know
You saved me

About The Song
This song is about a rough time in my life. I was extremely depressed and cooped myself up in my room all day, blocking out human contact, until the “savior” came and helped me turn my life around.
